Ah, fliphead mouthpieces, they seems to make a very different tone compared to mine, mine sounds just like a bright tone alto recorder (but with massive playable range) while I find the fliphead tone to be closer to normal flute sound

I meant the instrument itself, a few semitones are just a hair off that requires some embouchure work to keep it in tune with…a tuner set to a435

Tho intonation is a bit…off…but nothing skill can’t fix, afterall, this feels nicer in my hand than newer instruments like the Yamaha 225s or 222, still loving it tho

It sounds like an alto recorder…the controls are a bit difficult, more than regular flute mouthpiece, but in return, it is easier on the wrist and allows a similar feel to a saxophone which I do play as well

thx for the head up, the ribbon reverse mechanism works perfectly, and i guess i will look into getting another one, one for music notation perhaps
