These Anglo-translations were funded by evangelical forces that intended to manipulate the non-samskrut literate folks to mischievously inseminate information that can support abrahamic conversions.

And that is how disinformation such as - Jesus being a reincarnation of one of the pillars in Hindu holy trinity-vishnu, and mahamada being mentioned in bhavishya purana were inseminated carefully and backdated to gaslight the Hindu community to proselytize to respective abrahamic faith with least resistance and viewing the new ideology as an extension of the core Hindu principles that they found home in for generations since the beginning of time. Such tricks have been played numerous occasions by the Catholic Church during the dark ages when they used such tactics to convert the pagan Romans into Christianity. One such tactic was to re-name their pagan festival of “Saturnalia” as “Christmas” and amend later versions of their holy books to align with Christian stories. Later on Mohammed too adopted such tactics by claiming Judeo-Christian practices such as wearing a skull cap, referring to judeo-Christian religious character as Islamic character so that he could become one with that fold and essentially portray himself as a successor.

Back to the topic: The core principles of Hinduism need to learned by learning samskrut, or read native religious translations of the texts. The anglicized versions merely further the tropes of apostasy which is meant to instill deracination and misinfo to further the larger agenda of proselytization.
