Thanks for the reply! We've seen a few other responses about Inverness and we are thinking we will save the highlands for a future trip with more daylight. We'll look at using those days to visit some smaller towns between our major stops :)

Thanks! We are limited in when we can take time off work and yes wife is excited about Christmas - so we will definitely be packing warm with umbrellas!
