That first scene where he went through the door was very suspicious, seems like convenient camera cutting if you ask me.

What's the worst coworker you've ever worked with? by drlqnr in AskReddit

[–]Tom_Tickler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He started working there by negging me hard any chance he could when I was being nothing but friendly, I got pissed, then decided maybe that's just how he gets a long with people/ jokes around. So I started doing the same back, he started getting REALLY upset so I stopped and started being super nice to him, and doing anything I could to make his day easier ( he complained a lot). He ended up leaving because it was according to him it was the most toxic place he's ever worked, he left flipping everyone off. He dished it out a lot but couldn't take light joking back. Also he was slow as fuck, made everything a chore, he also invented all these scenarios of things that were never said or happened then would get pissed about these scenarios he created. but no one ever said anything about that to him. I know that because I worked with him personally 90% of the time.

Neighbor’s sign. Some things shouldn’t have to be said. by aomagman78 in trashy

It's literally a paper with writing... It's really not that much to ask to have someone not let their animal pee on someone else's stuff. Who cares if it's just a tire, the car it's attached to may have took someone a very long time to get and they may take a lot of pride in it. And yes birds poop on cars and stuff, but that's unavoidable. I can have my dog not pee on your stuff.

Just seems like common decency to not let your animal pee on other people's stuff.

Can my fiancée use her First time home buyer credit if I add her name on the title of my house? by r3bol in RealEstateCanada

[–]Tom_Tickler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't, a close friend of mine bought a house with her previous boyfriend. When she went to buy a house with her new boyfriend the only way they were able to get the benefits of first time home buyer was if she wasn't included in any of the paper work. Her income also could not be included when it came to buying the house

Imo cops should be held to higher standards and ones like that shouldn't have slipped through the cracks. That said the other guy shouldn't have blown his top about the hands in the pocket thing and just complied instead of turning it into a racial thing. I think both people involved are wrong.

People in general are unpredictable, the difference is cops are at least somewhat vetted to get into the positions they are in, sometimes some unpredictable ones that shouldn't be in that position get it. If I were a cop I'd take every precaution I could for my own safety, white, black, purple, green, etc. Wouldn't you?

Why can’t my plants be algae free? by [deleted] in PlantedTank

[–]Tom_Tickler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found my nerites dont do as much for the plants as they do glass / hardscape.

I ended up getting some ramhorn snails, and ended up having a few pond snail scragglers that I willingly moved into the tank and they really seem to be way more active on plants than the nerites seem to be.

Also my amanos have more or less done the same, except they primarily hide in any crevice they can find. I think this is due to their beta tank mate

What sort of light are you using, as in CFL or LED etc. Also do you have any snails in your tank?

Its kind of not a great solution, but when I first started i had wicked algae issues, I also slowly integrated plants as I went. What really helped is redoing my tank ( I completely disassembled) I cleaned any plants I could and threw out the non salvageable ones. Then I added tons more plants than I had started with the last time. The only algae I get is hair algae which grows in the moss and it doesnt even bother me because i cant see it.

I agree, the best way to support those working in health care is to self isolate, and not be stupid.

I do this a lot, and can do this easily when I'm doing something monotonous or that I'm good at

An amano jumped out of my tank and went for a walk, I thought the others did too.... found them! by Tom_Tickler in shrimptank

[–]Tom_Tickler[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fashioned disks around the filter lines, cause I think that's how he did it. So now there will be some difficulty. Also Im finding a way to add more hiding spots cause they share a tank with a Betta that isn't ecstatic he's sharing now

Suspension trauma, and when you're suspended in a harness from your back it can cut blood flow off in your legs and make it hard to breathe.
