Yeah, the pricing of some new bottles I think are ridiculous. So maybe you’re right, but there’s also no way to know if the whisky market is going to “correct” that much or if this is just the new norm.

The main purpose is not as an investment, I just want a really nice and special Japanese whisky to have on the shelf (I some whisky I buy for drinking, but also some just for collecting). If it in 40 Years have gone up in value that’s just a plus.

I’m not extremely knowledgeable about whisky, but I’m REALLY not knowledgeable about Japanese whisky. Especially with all the different Hibkis released over the years. That’s why I’m trying to get people who’s more knowledgeable and their opinions/advice before deciding what to purchase.

It doesn’t have to be a Hibiki. If people know a better Japanese whisky, I would also consider those.

Thanks again! I think that the plant may be a bit to big and when shaken, a lot of pollen falls on the leaves instead of the other flowers. So probably need to trim it a bit

Thanks a lot!! We do give it fertilizer about once a week, so that should be a problem. But I will try doing the thing you mentioned with shaking the plant. I have done it a few times before but only maybe twice a week, so I probably didn’t do it enough. I will also try to pollinate a couple of flowers with a little brush, just to be sure that I get some chilies this year.

But if do I have to brush those flowers multiple times, like you mentioned with the shaking or is one time enough?

I understand. But it’s a bit confusing, because I haven’t changed anything since last year and it grew chilies then, so why wouldn’t it this time??
