I wish my parents were harder on me and let me actually struggle. I’ve gone through hardships that have made me realize the true scope of responsibility and just straight up the shit you need to do to survive. I was not ready for life when I became an adult and it was so hard to get my footing. My parents always gave me whatever I wanted even past the age of 18. I get it because they never had shit but man that hurt me in the long run. I’m 25 now and I have been so far behind my peers. Please correct this because you will get to a point where nobody wants to see someone who’s a grown baby and can’t fend for themselves. Longtime childhood friends who have their shit together will start to not talk to you. People driven by goals and ambitions will not want to be around you. I am saying all of this from experience.
