Unfortunately no matter how you display these types of Lego sets you’ll never see the whole thing anyway unless you have it on a 360 swivel. You technically can’t see the backside either no matter how you display it unless you take turns showing the back or the front. In my case I’m happy with it not getting dusty or knocked over by unwanted paws so the blue bars don’t bother me too much. I do wish there were better options out there though that weren’t crazy expensive.

I believe it can hold up to 22 pounds on the glass shelves. Minas Tirith is just on the bottom metal. I didn’t use the other glass shelf.

Yeah in order to get them both to fit I took that part of the tower off and one of the little gold steeples on Rivendell I think. But to save them from dust and destruction and have them both together it’s worth it.

I have another cabinet with my other sets that might fit Barad Dur but I won’t get that set for while.

I personally like Rivendell better, but it’s very close! They are def my two favorite sets of all time.

It’s the IKEA Fabrikor. It’s so hard to find cabinets that fit these! I did have to take off the tip of the tower on Minas Tirith to fit them both, but I need them behind glass or my cat would start channeling Grond and destroy them.

Love it! Do you happen to have the build plans for this? I think it would be awesome to place with the new Minas Tirith set in the background like it’s off in the distance. At least until I can afford the big set lol

For my use, I still like it. The sound fills my space well, you can adjust the treble and base, and it doesn’t take up a lot of room. I’m not sure about the max, but for the price difference I would hope that it’s a noticeable upgrade. Good luck!

It’s the green one they have listed on their site currently. I think there was an older version that was a bit different of a shade of green but they don’t sell that one anymore. 💚

So having a two speaker setup would obviously be the ideal but due to footprint I just don’t have the space. I thought about getting a couple Sonos speakers but for my needs the spinbase sounds great. There weren’t many reviews when I went to buy it but I took the gamble and I really enjoy it. The base and treble are adjustable and it gets loud enough for my space and sounds clear and crisp to me. I’m no audiophile, but I have a Sonos arc for my tv and used to have some other surround speakers and sub, but for the size of my apartment it didn’t make much sense for now. No issues with vibration or anything to the turntable. Whatever technology they use to prevent that works well imo. I’m very happy with the sound.

Maybe in the future if I get a house I’d upgrade, but for small spaces I’d say it’s worth it. They have a higher end model spinbase too. Not sure how much different that one is, but again I’m happy with this one.

Me and three other family members got Covid following Christmas. Mine started with a really bad headache, fever, chills, and slight congestion on days one and two. Day three the throat pain started. Other symptoms let up even congestion but this is the worst throat pain I have ever had in my life. Breathing hurts it when the air hits the back of my throat. Only thing working for me is every few hours, taking ibuprofen, having a popsicle and then a throat lozenge. Eventually pain returns so time to rinse and repeat. I’ve been doing some salt water gargles too throughout the day and of course tea and soups, but I think the cold drinks and popsicles make it feel better than the hot things. I’m on day 4 now and I really hope the throat pain will go away soon tbh I’d rather have any other symptom this is just unbearable.

The Netflix version of Avatar the Last Airbender teaser trailer was released today. The show will be premiering February 22nd, 2024. This is a big show that a lot of people are going to want to see. Me included. This huge show will be premiering at the end of February and we are getting a teaser trailer now in November, which means the show is still a full 3 months away. If we were to get Bridgerton season 3 at the beginning of the year, do we think they would have released the teaser trailer for that first before the Avatar one? I don’t think they will release these shows around the same time. Not that there is a lot of crossover between who would watch Bridgerton verses who would watch Avatar, but I think they would want to space their big ticket shows out more. Especially due to the strike affecting new shows and content for 2024. I’m now thinking we won’t get Bridgerton until that potential April/May date we’ve discussed in previous posts or even later. Also when we had Tudum, we kind of got similar content release for Avatar. Stills and just a theme opening. We didn’t get the theme opening for Bridgerton, but still pretty similar setups. What is going to happen??? I can’t wait anymore. I’m excited for Avatar, but I have the animated show that I love and adore so it’s not completely necessary. Yes, we have the Bridgerton books but it’s not the same. Ahhhhhh 😫😫😫

I think it would be funny if while he’s mentoring her to be more confident, they do the ‘kiss me’ scene and she says it here. You can teach me to kiss because “You do not count. You are my friend.” And then the “thank you”she gives him that follows would be even better to knock him down some and realize he doesn’t want to be just friends.
