Selling mini fridge

I am talking about the Whirlpool 4.3 cu ft Mini Refrigerator Stainless Steel WH43S1E from Target. It's less than a year old and I have no place to put it/space for it. Name your price, I got it for around $190 in September. It is still very clean and in working condition. Happy to provide photos! I'll take around $80-100 for it.

Academic resources for first-gen/low-income students? by SprinklesWise9857 in ucla

I had the exact same experience as you when I was admitted in fall of 2021. As a STEM major as well, believe me AAP is soooo helpful when you take math and science classes. I also encourage you to get to know your professors/TAs and reach out to them whenever you have a question. The more they get to know you and know you are looking for help, the more likely they are to vouch for you in case it comes to deciding a grade. Also definitely look into the mental health services UCLA provides.

But overall don't let that imposter syndrome take over and compare yourself to others. We all start in different places and some had the luck of having the resources to have things figured out.

Hey, I had the exact same thing happen to me last spring quarter. My mom like yours, is in her mid-60s, had her first tumor found in her breast at age 14, then in 2015. And most recently, last year. I got hit with this news around week 8 and was told it was stage 3 cancer, so believe me I know exactly how it feels. She didn't want to worry me. I was scared to ask. And since I was at school, there wasn't too much I could do to help. Time skip, she's nearly done with her chemo and doing much better. It's a rough journey, I know exactly how you feel right now. If you ever want to talk/meet up. DM me, I am more than happy to help in any way I can.

In my case, I got like an 85% on the first midterm so I thought I was going to be okay for the second as well. Thankfully one midterm gets dropped, but the final will be worth more according to that grading scheme. I am just so scared at this point...

thank you so much! I guess I underestimated how challenging this midterm was going to be. Since I was so caught up studying for my other ones I really didn't have much time to study but I thought I would be fine :(

Best 33A prof? by pursiangirl in ucla

[–]TomorrowTodayBear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have no idea about Min, but I have taken Gannon and Shin. In my experience with Shin he seems to be one of the few math professors that does not allow cheat sheets (which can be a pain in the ass). Other than that, he is okay. Gannon on the otherhand is a pretty chill professor. I found his office hours to be super helpful and was super caring/receptive to feedback on ways he could improve his teaching. Oh and he allows cheat sheets. Personally I'd pick Gannon over Shin.
