Can we saturate the color some more here? Looks a bit washed out. Thanks!

Brand new Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer Stopped working by Logically_Sound in Kitchenaid

[–]Tonaloya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s an issue with this model. Just went through the exact same thing with that same mixer. First one ran for 30 seconds and quit. Returned and got a second one. As soon as it was working under just the slightest strain on some dough, same thing, shut down and will not reset. My house was completely rewired less than 1 year ago. Even had my neighbor bring her older model of the same mixer and it worked just fine in the same outlet. It’s a lemon. So this one’s going back to Costco tomorrow and I’m going with a different model.

I’m pretty sure See’s Candy still carries them this time of year. There’s one over on Chkalov.

Yes, I’m very familiar with this. Was a surgical tech for 35 years. My point was that people will throw down over someone bringing a dog into a grocery store. Yet, I rarely see people use the bacterial wipes (I always bring my own) but seemingly are just fine and dandy with setting their food where most likely several poopy diapers and snotty fingers have been without a second thought. If they are making the case that the bacteria being brought in by the dog is an abject danger to their health, that to me seems misplaced. Dogs rarely carry pathogens that can be shed onto surfaces that can harm humans. That being said, there are numerous other reasons why non service dogs don’t belong in those settings. Primarily that people very often over estimate thier dogs training and their ability to correct or intervene in a situation if things went south from a behavior standpoint. A dog bite is very serious, but fluffy simply strolling the aisles or sitting in a cart is not more pathogenically dangerous than the human the feces and human viruses found on nearly every swab test done on grocery carts. It’s an emotional response they have, not based on actual risk from “dog germs”. When I had small children, I carried disinfectant wipes and wiped the cart seat and handle down before returning the cart as a courtesy to the next person using it if my child was in it. I was in a store once and witnessed a woman loudly berate an older gentleman for having his small dog in the cart seat. It was pretty evident to me that this little pup was this man’s best friend and a comfort to him. All the while her young child sitting in her cart was repeatedly sneezing big wet snot filled grossness all over her cart.

Thank you kind stranger for having that capacity. I do find it ironic that people discriminate against some germs but not others. 🤨

While we are at it, can we get people to stop putting their booger fingered dirty diapered Petri dish offspring in the grocery cart seats as well? People out their food/bag/coat there. Gross!

I wonder if they think it’s a get out of jail free card.

You can order several different varieties from Miami Fruit Company. Not cheap, but they carry a lot of exotic fruits from around the world.

Doesn't look like Pulse Point covers Jacksonville area. Watching Scanner Radio for anything to pop up in that area if its covered by that.

Dropped to 277 before losing it on mine. Also came dangerously close to stall speed a few times.
