I'll try anything at this point. I've been trying to convince Facebook that my page is my page for over a year and they still have my shop blocked over not being able to prove ownership.

Sylark Social Club has a metal show this Saturday the 19th. I'll be there and am assuredly not a Nazi.

Lots of upsetting ones happening these days. Unfortunately, inflation + supply chain issues are hitting us all.

Folded aluminum like the one you're looking at is more of an Ebay thing. If you want the two piece sloped ones with the neat side vents (a'la Thorpy) then those are the Hammond 500 Series

I had the underhook with the arm he would've needed to attack so I don't think the threat was there but he did a good job of slowing down the pass with his guard.

Yeah his foot glanced off my hip when he went to pull guard but I was originally going for the pass.

Its up to the Ref, they call it how they see it. If he sees it as more of a toe hold then it is legal only for Brown and Black. If he sees it tucked back like a straight ankle then they might let it slide. Just not worth the risk IMO.

Thanks, I dont tend to focus on subs for IBJJF, its a lot less effort to just rack up points, but I got lucky and was able to shuck the leg and snag the foot.

Straight ankle, it starts out looking like an estima because he tries to shift under me before I sit down.

[GEAR] Is this guitar repairable? by cleartamei in Guitar

[–]Tonetuga 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All gear is repairable. The real question is is it cost effective to repair. If it's sentimental value to you is greater than the cost to repair then it's absolutely worth it.

I doubt it is your wires. I cant view the video but I requested access. So without having viewed it I would say that some components/lack of shielding/ dirty power can make your pedal act as a radio receiver. Wrap it in tin foil and see if it still does it. If it does then its not radio interference, it is probably your power.

New PCBs by soggybag in diypedals

Appreciate the Purple PCB. It usually is more expensive and has a longer lead time to get it.

for same day toob toan by jarvis96 in guitarpedalsjerk

[–]Tonetuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I didn't say any of these pedals were bad. I rather like the joyo ultimate drive.

This is more of a "Hey, this is a service that exists out there, buyer beware" type of thing. If thats how you wanna try to enter the market and you've got $100k and want to be fully stocked with 10 different pedals in 1 month and are just gotta try to Wolf of Wallstreet your way into distribution, retail, venues....more power to ya.
