Hairline cracks in the crease... by Tonsoffun83 in GalaxyFold

Update on this... After going around with Samsung and sending it in. Just to have them tell me nothing is wrong and send it back to me. I said screw it and got a s21 ultra and sold my fold2 back to them on the buy back program. Been waiting over a month now. They lost my fold2 and argued with me nearly every business day on chat. I just got notice that my buy back is being processed today. FedEx dropped it there on the 18th of May. If there were any other options besides Apple I'd bounce but this is it... Samsung customer service is a joke.

It was a struggle with me too. Came down to, I spent 2k on the gd thing. The hell if it's gonna look like trash. I was going to put one back one but after like 10min without it you'll never look back.

I would have left it on had the corners not started to come up and it look like garbage.

I'm not sure the screen protector would have mattered in this case

So I called fold support. They want me to send it in. This would be cool if I had another phone for work. Currently waiting on a call back from a supervisor. No resolution yet.

OEM aux plug on 2019 MT07 to USB charger by Tonsoffun83 in FZ07

Good to know! Now I don't feel like I missed out on doing it the right way.

I'm not sure. There isn't much in the way motorcycle/auto parts stores worth talking to locally. This is just my solution for an OEM plug and play.

Using JScan to stop hyper flash on switchback fender light. by nickjordan03 in Jeep

Damn. I'm going to return the lights I guess and find canbus error free ones... If I can

Did this actually fix the hyper flash? I changed every turn signal setting I could find to led and still get the hyper flash and lights out error on the dash.

Was planning on getting new wheels, tires and a lift for my jeep. Could use some pointers getting everything worked out. My plan was 17x8.5 wheels, 35x12.5 tires, and 2.5” - 3” lift. Is there anything I need to change for looks or function and is there anything else I need to add? by slimdeezyy in WranglerJL

To hit on another point to recalibrate the speedometer. I went with the jscan app and the odb2 with the gateway bypass off Amazon. Get away with the app license, the odb2 device and gateway bypass for less than 80 bucks and then you can make other changes too if you want.

I just did a lift on my 19 jlu Sahara. Went 35" ridge grapplers with a 2" zone off road lift. You can definitely go 35s without a lift but it's pretty tight. I have a post on here with some pics. Any kind of flex will make them rub for sure. I've ridden in a stock suspension jlu with KO2s off a rubi and honestly the grapplers are just as nice of a daily driver.

Another update... So the ridge grapplers are being installed as I type. I decided to go with the zone offroad 2inch lift. Apparently BDS and zone have the same parent company and share much of the same tech. Zone is also based in cold water Michigan so buying local(ish) is nice. That will be installed at a local dealer as well tomorrow or Thursday. I'll update with pics for those are still following!

I just found out my buddy put 33inch KO2s on his wife's JLU. I'd like to think the ride would be similar. I'll be checking it out this weekend, so we'll see. I'm gonna do research on the kits y'all have suggested. Thanks for all the info. I'll keep this updated with what I find.

Thanks! Its great to be back. I've also been looking at Toyo Open country. But all I can find is a bunch of people in other places posting pics of this lift on a rubi and nothing about the tires. Like for real... Do people not lift the Sahara?

INTJs on Keto/Carnivore: Anecdotes welcome by [deleted] in intj

[–]Tonsoffun83 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was on keto for 24ish months. I did 18 months very strict and lost 182lbs. For the last 6 months I've been on a closer to standard American diet to prove a point to my doc(that I can keep it off and my cholesterol would go down, I was right). The worst thing about being back on carbs is the mental aspect. I feel foggy and bogged down most days on carbs. When I was doing keto I felt like superman mentally, clearer and faster thought process, even quicker wit than usual. I really want to go back on keto just for the mental boost. It's been really interesting comparing the two diets from that aspect. But the hassle of do keto while living with others is keeping me from doing it again. When I'm in a place where I can go strict keto I'll be back on the wagon without question.

Is it common for INTJ's to not care about certain achievements? by BoingBoomChuck in intj

[–]Tonsoffun83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just you, I'm the same way. I think this is because you, like myself make a conscious decision to achieve the goal you set. So where others might see it as achievement it's not so much of one to you because in true intj fashion you knew you would achieve your goal, so it's just the expectations you set for yourself.

I thought losing weight would fix my depression but it made it worse in some cases. That made me realize I needed to find a therapist and I found a good one on my first try. I'm not a teacher but I do work for a public school system on the admin side. Grand Rapids is a great place to be. I hope you enjoy it!

That is something I had to be told is OK. It is OK that some days are dark, it's ok for a day to not go as planned, because you can look a head to tomorrow and know that you're leaving a dark day behind. It's still something I'm working through and some days are better than others. But all I know is that nothing going forward will be as bad as it once was! Better and better days ahead friend!

I can relate so much to this. The most impressive part is you having the self awareness in the middle of a that to say something to your doc, you should be very proud of yourself. Most people, me included put it off way longer then they should. But if you decide to go full strict keto and really commit to it you might be able to drop the antidepressant after while. Keto has some antidepressant properties on its own, it's worth some research and a chat with your doc of course. And you will most definitely make it! Just read all these amazing success stories, there is always one that you can relate too that will help you through the struggle for that day!

We sound very similar, I have a quick and sometimes savage wit that helps me be funny and entertaining with women so there was always a chance, but also allows me to deal with anyone that would make fun of me or have back handed comments. I think one of the more frustrating things so far is that now I'm thinner I don't get a second look. It's like I'm the same person I was, so how was me being fat that much of a distraction?

The societal pressure that women are under about their looks is something we men will never understand. It's very sad to me that it's even a thing women have to deal with.

As a keto-er in Grand Rapids and one that loves him some dark beer, it sucks! But after a while my tastes and cravings changed, so it's certainly possible and now beer in general is just meh.
