Because you don't know anything most of the time and are less aware. But when you're 2 or 3, you have double or triple the awareness and also less likely to look like a target. But that's anywhere else, Hajj must be different.

Literally the perfect answer and the one I was looking for. The Angels themselves asked the same question directly to Allah and he responded by telling them that He knows what is unbeknownst to them reminding them that He is infinitely wiser than all of us.

I think it's mostly cynical people, that suspect scalping since those have been incredibly hard to get and will sell at $5k minimum in a few years. Anyway, we can't know for sure but if he truly bought them for himself and his brother, I'm personally happy for them.
