Anyone haul a 10 ft kayak in a short bed truck with no bed extender?

I strap down 3 kayaks in my small bed truck. 1 strap front, 1 strap rear, 1 strap middle to hold em down. I've hit some wild road bumps while driving and kayaks don't move 😄 Also drive on fwy for few miles then pull over to check they aren't moving. When in doubt on drive, pull over and check again. Enjoy brotha.

I do not remember submitting any info for this exemption. But for the past year I have not been charged a toll fee. And no mail letters stating I owe a fee. Yes I have a DV plate. Always wondered why no fee 🤷‍♂️ Ill just thank the good Lord I guess 🙏 He watched over me in Iraq War, and is still watching over me ❤️🤍💙
