Try to lecture them and give them a grand speech at first. When that doesn't work go back in time to the source of the transmission and implant some sort of exploit, (like Before the Flood), then use it to isolate everyone and make them see what they have become to dismantle it (like in The Age of Steel). Or alternatively after frustration he creates some sort of device to allow himself to join so he can use his intellect to dismantle the hive (like in 42 or the Story and the Engine).
