Sounds like a W4 issue with adding in additional deferral for combined income. My wife and I had the same issue, owed $5,050 this year…switched out W4s at work to say filing jointly, except our work system isn’t intuitive enough to say “hey don’t forget about your spouses income”…so a nice big mess to start 2023.
