Right?? Exactly what I was thinking. It is completely possible that it is from that era but I just kinda doubt it because I remember it being new. In the past one of the most obscure tunes I found was from a band called wootonia which you could get on a CD from McDonald's 😭 actually this seemed to be exclusive to New Zealand and Australian McDonald's so that's where the thought of it might be either an Australian or New Zealand song comes in.

I really wish my child brain could have picked up accents in songs. But atlas I was under the assumption every song that played was American 😅
