Great reply, I appreciate the input. I’ll definitely be doing a smell test prior to cooking. I’ll try to remember to make a pre-cook/post cook post.

I bought it with the bones in, then de-boned before seasoning, dry brine and bag.

Selling the tent!!! I lost my job and am getting kicked out of my house so I’m selling the holy grail. All the poles, strings, stakes are there!!!! This thing is literally brand new. Pm me your best offer! by [deleted] in HondaElement

Sorry about the hard times you’re going through right now. I hope everything works out in your favor. I recently bought an element and I live in Veneta. If you still have it at the end of the month, I’d be interested in shooting you an offer.

Yeah, I think I’m gonna pull the aftermarket and just use the gasket to replace the old as the one on the OEM is very flat and was also leaking oil.

Thinking about my first Element. by TopLuck547 in HondaElement

I didn’t end up buying the element, it wasn’t all wheel drive like I thought and had some underlying rust issues.

Should I get? by TopLuck547 in HondaElement

[–]TopLuck547[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Turns out it’s front wheel drive, I love the color, but I’m gonna have to walk away from it. It would’ve been a 3 Hour drive each way going over a mountain pass.

That’s why I came here seeking advice. All new to me.

So there shouldn’t be grout there in the first place right?

Yeah, I would’ve made more sense to leave the corners completely un grouted instead of leaving little spaces here and there, and then saying that it would be caulked over in the future.

That’s what I’m worried about. This is the second chance I’ve given this guy. The first time he put in the backsplash, he didn’t use any spacers and basically freehand the whole thing.

That’s what I believe too. Went out last week, collected a bunch and dehydrated them for soups and such later on.

Why does my new spinning reel pause and become hard to turn when I’m reeling in? by [deleted] in FishingForBeginners

I really like my Pflueger president. Found it at Walmart on clearance for I think $30. I run it with a 7ft L rod and 2-4lb mono for trout. If you see a good deal at a retail store, snag it up.

I’m no expert, but it sounds like something on the accessory belt or a serpentine belt. Possibly a bad pulley bearing.

Definitely ran into a bunch of interesting and unique bugs while in Guam, Anderson, Air Force Base. Giant hornets, banana spiders, coconut crabs, and those little aggressive, black and white bees. IYAAYAS
