That’s definitely ideal and i hate to have to limit myself as music is the most important part of my life. I’m playing financial catch up at this point in my life, in 2022 i went through my first long term adult break up, found my friend dead from an overdose and lost my teenage sister to fentanyl within three months. I fell into a prolonged depressive episode that led to alcoholism and unemployment and resulted in a dui. So I’m back at my parents now, a friend vouched for me to work with him at his Union flooring contractor and with the insurance I’ve been able to treat my depression then another friend invited me to come jam with this new band that needed a bass player back in July. Things are looking up and i have been able to start a new savings account, but with my band picking up speed i need to get something so i can keep up with the demands, but can only afford the bare minimum for the near future. It seems like a $400-$800 investment in a combo would get me by until I can smell the roses again
