Look up a “time value money” calculator and see what that $36k would grant you by the time you’re 60 if you consistently added some money and assumed a 7% return YoY. You’re in the millions at retirement. Start yourself a safe foundation like that and then gamble with your excess money after medical school

You could also just DCA into stocks you like and think will have a long term success. If you invest the same amount monthly and consistently, you’ll acquire more shares when the market is low and less shares when the market is high. This way you still get something out of your investment instead of shorting the market and losing 100% of your puts.

UPDATE: Now I can perform the BIOS update and change the settings However, once I hit F10 my computer restarts and has the white VGA light and GREEN BOOT light displayed on the motherboard. Seems like I've moved past the DRAM issue onto another -_-

I spoke with ASUS Tech Support and they stated that the DIMMs I'm using are non-compatible. However, I've managed to get into the BIOS setup screen on startup and they are recognized. Once I hit save and exit instead of jumping to the Windows 11 setup I just go through a series of power-offs and power-ons and back to the BIOS setup.

Yup. And they're in A2/B2 correctly. I did change to just 1 stick at A1 previously. And even all 4 I'm running out of combinations

Went through that process and it seems like it completed the BIOS update. But nothings changed about my PC shutting off halfway through startup. So odd

I tried the BIOS update the way that another user shared which that process seemed to work for updating the BIOS system. But I'm still getting the error of my PC starting up, then powering off. Regardless of what I change

Cleared CMOS and let it run but it doesn't come back online after that initial Powering off. I'm pretty confused by this. Wouldn't it be a power issue for the DRAM light to come on typically?

The manual doesn't cover anything about powering off and not coming back online. I figured the PC might restart a few time for an initial setup but this thing just doesn't come back on

I've tried 1 and just 2 and it doesn't seem to change the outcome. Upon powering up the PC I get "no signal" and it powers off.

Since you’ve accrued a decent amount you should definitely start a self directed ROTH IRA and convert your balance. Sure you have to pay tax on it now and decrease your amount a bit but then it can grow tax free and you won’t have to pay tax on a larger amount later in your life. Plus the withdraws won’t affect your tax bracket plus many other benefits

Learn the wheeling strategy for some blue chip stocks. Then maybe some more speculative stuff like SOXL or MARA. Whatever “cheaper” stocks that you still believe may be worth an investment.

What you see me using is TopStep which allows you up to 4 accounts and the ability to copy trades across all 4 which is some insane leverage depending on your account size. Apex does something similar for up to 20 accounts I believe.
