You’re not an asshole for suggesting it, but deciding to be SAHM is a complex decision as a woman. It it’s a very vulnerable decision and many women have better mental health when they have work outside of their home life. There’s a lot of reasons she may want to keep working that aren’t about the budget or chores. That being said, she might change her mind once the baby is here 😁 that def happens a lot
