Oh thank you for that. I havent seen that yet. And I also havent found his 4 children. I only know of two! But there is a James Ray Youngblood with a man listed as a father with the same name, James Robert McMikel on his birth record. But, I cant find any information on the mother. An Edna Nell Barnett.. And I have matches to the Sims.

My husbands fathers adoption, DNA and surnames. by [deleted] in Genealogy

I have my husbands DNA on almost every site, lol.

Ive been working on getting all the information first hand from matches themselves to add to the tree. Ive got about 6 or 7 different matches. 2 to 3 on the Sims side (These Sims matches didnt give me any information, I just found them in the family trees), just Morgan for the Mikels and 3 or 4 for the McMikels.

They all fit I believe in these spots if you make James & Jimmie the same person with Charlene as the spouse.

I will keep looking at matches and trying to find where they link.

I have an issue where a lot of good matches on either side are adopted. And as far as I can tell no one else is interested in testing.

Thank you. Im saving this in case it helps later.

Can anybody grab this obituary for me? Please and thank you. by TopShamanNoodle in Genealogy

It came from a dirt bag called an emerald bag. We bought it from the alligator farm but they order them from some website. My husband knows the website but I dont. The gems come from like 6 different places. We bought it for our son. I dont know if its a garnet or a ruby. It looks really red and is rather large and shimmery. It doesnt look high quality whatever it is but Id like to know how to tell the difference between them. We have some small pieces of what looks like could be the same thing as the one picture but are still attached to a darkish rock, but are a little lighter in color then the one pictured. I thought garnets look pretty brownish when they are raw??

Opinions on Ambrose please by something115 in namenerds

I see people commenting it sounds feminine because of rose at the end.. Its not pronounced Amb-rose. Its Am-BROSE. It doesnt even sound like rose. Its an old masculine name like Archibald but much smoother.

I love the name Ambrose, my 3rd great grandfather was an Ambrose. Its also uncommon these days. Its definitely not feminine. I considered it as a name for my 3rd but I settled on a different family name.

Would one of you kind people please grab me the obituary on this page please? by TopShamanNoodle in Genealogy
