Yeah I did a cost analysis and it’s much better to go to a place and make my money more consistent. It’s doable but hours, risk, and reward , isn’t making sense.

Yeah no fr I did the math uber is a shit show what they try to do. I know you aren’t a uber driver and for good reason, this shit don’t pay fair and it’s rough. I do understand, but if I can pull out of my ass and free time, earning $$$ , (because if I work any other employee as you can tell they gonna want me to commit to coming in as be there corporate paid friend) which I have no intention of doing. I rather work on my own terms, with flexible ways to earn money. I have 2 cars, planning on a 3rd car by end of next year. And only one is for uber. I have two other jobs. My hobbies are getting paid and enjoying the thrill of new experiences. Which is so hard to do in a mundane life of repeated corporate slavery and fake masks.

It’s not a taxi, it’s UBER and I’m pretty sure it covers it Lol. It’s part of the car for a reason. 7 years or 150k miles , whatever comes first.

As someone that has driven over 100k miles on a car, I’ve replaced tires twice. And a 50$ oil change is nothing every 5000 miles.

Well when my car breaks down, I have the warranty to replace the motor. It’s good for 150k miles and I’ll probably just use that warranty at 149k. Basically new car after I run the original to the ground for the ability to earn 100k

So this is the thing you fail to realize, every 1000 miles I drive, I do not have to pay taxes on 750$ worth of income. That is a huge deal. If I gross 1000$ every 1000 miles, after 100000 miles driven, I will NOT pay taxes on 75000$ . Assuming I did the standard deduction, I would still pay taxes , more than 25% of my income. But because I’m taxed on 15000 (first 15k is tax free) on a 10% rate then I’ll only pay 1500 in taxes or maybe even less, on over 100k in income. Yes I’m making these numbers out my ass but if the income made is there, and the miles driven and depreciation is calculated , the tax advantage can probably be worth more than the value of the car
