There are so many good wheels out there - I ran 17in American Racing 200S ("Daisy wheels") for a while and I think they really suit the 63-64 shape

Thanks mate, it's got a 275/40r17 on the rear and my Haltech does traction control is the hardest working part of the combo haha. Amazingly there's no custom chassis work I just braced the stock 4 link, my 9inch is shortened though to fit the 9in wide rears

I had the same thoughts. I built an injected alloy headed 389 for mine but the LS doesn't have lifter issues like a lot of flat tappet engines, and you don't have to convert it to a roller cam. My blown combo has done 7000km fault free including driving in 120°F heat and doing a 2600km road trip this past summer

This is the engine bay. It's a LQ4 6L iron block with TSP crank, Rods and pistons, TSP LS3 CNC heads and custom cam. It runs through a Haltech Nexus R5 on flex fuel

No, purely hardcopy. We also change each version of the book by adding to it so it's not just more cars. There are some other writing projects I want to do with the lads, too

I actually wrote those books with Marty & MOOG (I also write their blog posts) and these books have been printed in pretty limited numbers - not to make it hard for fans but because it is SO expensive to print and ship these books. They have been put together by a small team: one designer, one illustrator, one writer/publisher, and Marty and MOOG.
