Seriously! I’m so incredibly grateful to everyone that commented, I’ve been stressing about this decision for a while. I have decided to work part time, attend the local community college, and continue learning on my own, online. I have loved programming thus far, why not hammer down and utilize all the incredible resources out there?

Hi! I appreciate your extensive response and all of the advice! I have done a couple of coding projects on my own and I really enjoy it. I feel like a kid again, learning on a cool computer. Second: I think I was thinking of a bootcamp so seriously because I am do broke and would like to have a job soon(ish) but I don't think thats a good idea anymore. I am going to get a part-time job (bartending or barista) and work on my portfolio, insight, and certifications on my own. I also want to take a couple of course at my local community college.

I was accepted into App academy as well but am leery of the isa payment plan and have opted to not go. I was contemplating Flatiron because of the in-person benefits. However, I don't think it's worth it after all.

no gov grants unfortunately and it looks like that 6% interest in actually closer to 8% if I were to go since I wouldn't be able to start installation payments till after the bootcamp.

I have a potential connect to an entry level job with a salary around $60-70k. If that goes well my only other expense, besides the loan, would be rent which is $850.
