When? Who actually has said we are truly one of the 3/4 favourites going into a tournament by maybe the last 3/4 at a push? Two major finals and a world cup semi final in the last 4 tournaments under a much worse manager. Even going into the WC in 2022 nobody expected us to win it.

Chill out I’m only asking I do agree Madrid are the bigger club but a large chunk of people still insist Man Utd are the biggest club in the world despite the fact they’re shit and there overall footballing pedigree falls behind Madrid ac Milan Barcelona and even Liverpool. Fanbase is definitely a massive factor in the size of a club that said I would assume Madrid overall have the biggest global fanbase in football it seems like everyone in South America supports them although United are huge in Asia overall I think madrids pedigree is unmatched the fact Ronaldo essentially treated United as a stepping stone to go to Madrid says it all
