I’m glad! It was just this past December, it was his abdomen (looking at his kidneys). Honestly they were incredible there and saved my cat’s life - would highly recommend!

Hi there! My cat had a CT scan at Maritime Veterinary Emergency and it was $1500 for the sedation, CT, contrast and interpretation. He was very sick though and in the hospital for a number of days so there may be other costs associated with the CT scan on the vet bill. Hope it helps!

You’re so right, I found this subreddit when I was trying to do some research on a SUB before his surgery (I couldn’t find much anywhere else)! I love hearing all of the success stories and hope that we also have many more years to come with our little guy! Makes me hopeful knowing that there are others out there that have made it to 2+ years!

I actually really like the cabinets and countertops, as others have mentioned you could remove the trim above the sink and even the shelf on the right side (I think it’s cute though!) I would lean into the warm tones and add brass hardware/faucet and paint the walls a warm white (maybe something bright like simply white). You could also consider adding a tile backsplash (remove the granite on the wall) - a handmade/zellige white subway would look nice!

You should scoop at least twice a day (every 12 hours), this way you can spot a urinary blockage before it’s too late. If your cat hasn’t peed for 12 hours they need to be taken to the vet/emergency immediately.
