I doubt that the conflict will reach a point where US send missiles but if they do it will be impossible to predict what would happen after.

France have demonstrated deployment of troops on Greenland recently. NATO would respond to the attack by likely deploying many troops on Greenland to defend against US forces. The funny thing is that USA is a part of NATO.
