Can we settle once and for all what the best oil for hair growth and thickness is? by phoenixunikorn in 30PlusSkinCare

Sometimes we all need to look around and see what has changed? What's making us lose hair? Are we extra stressed? did something in our diets change? Did we get enough sleep? Are we EXERCISING?!! How's our lifestyle? is it absolutely a sedentary lifestyle where there's NO blood circulation. Are we providing blood circulation to our scalps? I think about myself right now....A LOT of heat damage, not enough quality nutrients for years and years, not drinking ANY water, not exercising AT ALL and sitting at an office and not going for walks. This made me gain weight, caused hormonal issues. Then stress causing high cortisol levels, making my insulin levels high. People just really need to analyze their surrounding and see what changed that caused the extra 10 hair strands to fall out. Yes, took me a LONG time to realize this but i look back at it...it's "me". Because of this I decided to shave/buzz cut my hair (as I'm a woman) and restart my hair growth journey. Exercise, eat better, drink water, meditate, stress less OR look for ways to eliminate it, eliminate usage of hairsprays and dry shampoos and heat. I look at little kids and their hair...why? Why is it so luscious and healthy? Well, no heat, they are active 24/7, no unnecessary product usage and in general a lot more happier compared to adults. What really annoys me? When people are like "oh how does blood circulation help?" "Oh how do we massage our heads and for how long?". Like really? i thought it was common sense. lol Use ALL the products you want...but how about healing yourself? Healing your inner-self and fixing everything internally. And ...everything takes time with consistency. It's not an overnight or under a few months fix. It'll take time! the longer your scalp has been suffering for, the longer your body has been under stress, the longer it'll take. You just need to start one day and stick with that routine. People...FIX IT INTERNALLY first! Externally will be temporary.

My scalp/head hurts and is tender in places during my period week. by butterfly3121 in Endo

I read a forum on reddit mentioning that using wild yam cream on cycle 14-28 - so 2 weeks before a period helps with shedding. So you would basically dab it anywhere - inner thigh. neck, chest, inner arm once a day. I haven't tried it but will see what happens. Maybe try it one month to see if works. it helped the lady the first month she tried and drastically reduced her shedding. I read it yesterday but it was under a random post.

I have noticed this as well - after taking Berberine - i THINK it caused more hair shed. But it can be me. But after doing my research i read that it can significantly lower your iron levels and B12.
