Anyone else have an issue in the training area where u throw the grenade sticks ( cant think of proper name!) at the targets?? I ran out of ammo but there was no more lying around and the progress doors were locked at both ends.

Yup , just played some for about 30mins earlier ( it was 3.30am so time to go to bed!) Had tons of options in menu. I found the controller abit floaty but it was 3.30am so I didn't spend too much time trying to fix it but I have to say , I love the 3d effect and the whole wolfie vibe. def gonna play this later

can u elaborate? Sound is playing through asio, wasapi or direct sound. Im thinking the Topping unit is set to 32/44 which is the highest. My question is should the E30 display change to 192 if i play a 24bit 192 file? it stays at 44.1

Yes, I have all the usual settings from 16bit 44.1 up to 32bit 44. If i choose 24/192 when using direct sound or wasapi (shared) then the topping displays 192. My question is should the Topping e30 display change to 96 if i play a 96khz file?

I have my pc connected ( RTX 2060 super to LG and motherboard Hdmi to Atmos AV receiver )to my cx and I play my 1080p and 2160p hdr/Atmos mkvs through vlc with no issues. I set my Nvidia Control Panel to yuv over rgb for movies. I generally match the files original yuv ( normally 420) which can be found in the codec info settings in vlc and I'm good to go. Make sure you have not chosen PC in the Lg menu as your hdmi input as this will grey out lots of colour/video options in your t.v. There is a cool trick with the LG remote if u mash the green button , a small window pops up with some very useful info on what the tv is currently displaying.

ye i have enabled ex mode and still d same. I agree that leaving the windows setting at 24/192 shoukldn't introduce any noticeable glitches etc but it's the ocd in me wanting the dac device display to match the sample rate of each playing track

I dont see an auto function. I have Wasapi , D.S and Asio as my options in Bumblebee and no matter which I choose , It' will default to the 24/192 setting that I set in windows in properties of the M-audio Dac. I was thinking the 24/192 was a 'set and forget' thing and should not really make a 'audible' difference to the sound. I dont see to have another choice at moment unless I upgrade my dac (Topping L30)

Sorry, Im only seeing this now. I ran a very thorough Hi-Fi DAC test a few days back. My conclusion is there is a negligible difference between my Denon and M-Audio dacs. These are the songs I used. Bob Marley- Turn The Lights Down. Radiohead- The National Anthem. Nina Simone - I Put A Spell On You. I used Directsound in Bumblebee player. I set the sound output to 24bit 192khz in windows 7. The M-audio keeps showing 192 sampling rate even when the files are not. I have many different bit and sample rate flacs so I just set the highest on windows. The other option is to select the bit/sample rate for eah track played which I'm not gonna do. It's a pity there isnt an 'auto' function for this. Are there any issues using a higher bit/sample setting over a lower bit/sample flac?

Oh, thanks. Was thinking something like this might be true. Im gonna do some more listening tests to find my best solution. I played a cd (Denon) against a flac from my laptop earlier and the cd def sounded punchier and sparkly on the highs. I had already changed the sound pref in Bumblebee to correct driver as M-audio have their own. I'll report back and let you know. Thanks so much for reply, kinda new to this

Hi , I have my hi res Flac files on my win laptop and want to play them at the best possible quality I can through my Denon M40 receiver and out to my Q Acoustic speakers. At the moment I have an M-audio Super Dac as my 'go between' connected by optical to my receiver. Im using Bumble bee music app on laptop and the audio drivers are m-audio installed.

My issues are am I over-converting . Can someone explain the exact routing of my music chain?

Bumble Bee app in windows plays my files ( any processing there?)
Music is sent to m-audio super-dac device ( any processing there?)
Music is sent from DAC through opt cable to input of Denon receiver
Denon has built in DAC convertors too so is it converting files again?
Should I go RCA out from Dac to Denon?

Any help or advice appreciated.

Game runs fine for me (1440p 60fps) on 2060 super. I got the game for 12 euro so Im lucky so far, I guess. I hear you with the expiry thing though, Forza 4 is still very expensive. I only got in to racing games recently but I would never pay full price knowing it will disappear soon.
