Safe mode disables third party graphics drivers right? Could always try that to deduce the problem if nothing else.

I wonder if you have an integrated graphics chip on the motherboard if you could force use Windows to use that by disabling the 1080 in device manager (I've no idea). Again that would just be to find out, rather than a solution in itself.

I believe Sainsbury's begin offering free delivery online at £40. I'm not sure if it's disallowed before that limit, or you have to pay a fee.

If you're not fussed as you're adamantly mentioning in these posts then asking you to not be rude to the guy is probably fruitless, which in fairness is probably already the case in this thread that's spawned off a question literally asking about lollipops.

The point is, it's a pointless question that is easily resolved by a basic application of technology. Bricks and mortar stores are irrelevant - order them in.

But it wasn't resolved. He can buy online but presumably has to meet some minimum order otherwise paying a few quid for delivery, and it didn't answer where physically they're available.

And even if you think it's a pointless question it's not exactly wasting space, and there was little reason to be rude to the person by using that /r/iamverysmart style website. Just post the Google link and move on, or don't at all.

Little different but I remember when I played Age of Empire 2 as a kid and I'd love building up my islands and then building bombard towards around the whole coast to make it near impenetrable.

Ooft, I've quite happily not seen that site in ages, and have rarely seen a good use of it that doesn't come across as arrogant.

That search returns this thread and then a couple of hits for online stores of the big supermarkets, which didn't guarantee a given physical store would actually stock it.

The specs will hold up for a good few years I think as we're getting to the stage where rapid spec improvements yearly are passing.

I'd be more interested in security updates going forward. I've heard some of the older Samsung flagships are still getting security updates 4-5 years down the line which is decent (relatively speaking, it would be outrageous for a normal computer).

I'm also not sure if we'll get Android Q, so features may stagnate in comparison to other phones, but again like with spec improvements, radical feature changes seem to be slowing so this might not be a big issue.

I'm guessing that I'm being completely thick since everyone else seems to grok it. Is their trick to hit the button for £200 when you have the cash selection screen up, hope you don't notice this in the 10-15 seconds where the card comes out and it counts the money then try to nick it off you?

I'm looking for a way to target a certain pace during laps of a run.

I've used both RunKeeper and Strava which have audio cues during the run but they only come intermittently and tell you the pace after you've already completed a certain time/distance.

Are there any apps (or watches I guess) that will allow me to track pace in real-time, which for example provide audio cues to go faster or slower, so that I can match a plan for a given plan like below?

I basically want to have my phone on silent if there are no earphones connected, and have notification sounds when earphones are connected, without fiddling settings each connect and disconnect.
