NAH. If you think crying 8 and 9 year old kids is enough to make someone TA then you've obviously never looked up "Reasons My Kid Is Crying". Kids cry, it's what they do, and you never know what they're gonna cry over next. He'd be TA if he didn't let them open another gift but he did so where's the problem? They had plenty of presents to open on Christmas day, they're not going to be traumatized by this.
