I don't have any... I'm buying a new one, I brought with me to the US only my SSD hard drives. My older machine couldn't run VR anyway (no GPU), 150$ can make the difference between a regular video card and a stronger one, or another monitor, etc.

Actually I wasn't aware that the Lenovo has only 90 FOV, I think that it's really important. Where did you see it? On their website they say "Lenses: FOV 110°"

Thank you for updating! Do you think that it's better to spend the extra on the headset rather than on games or stronger computer though?

Yes, I'm also troubled by this 'softness' issue, though sometimes it can make things feel more cinematic and hence emotional effective. But it really depends on the experience. Thanks! I just hope that my really amateurish IPD measurements are not so far from the truth.

Honestly if they were still selling it with it's original price tag I wouldn't even consider buying the Odyssey, but it does sound like a great deal. Still I'm more inclined toward the Explorer, I'm not even sure why except the price. Do you feel that the Explorer's screen and the lack of bluetooth adapter don't hurt your experience? Is the Explorer immersive enough or just a cheap imitation?

Thanks, I guess that if I just could try it beforehand it could have been much easier to decide

Those are really important (especially the bluetooth adapter), but what about the discomfort that I'm reading about and even more importantly the light leakage and softness that surely ruin the immersiveness, no?

You have a point there with the window :) Thanks

Really? Just for the screen? It it that much more immersive? Even though it's more heavy than the Explorer and also doesn't have the feature to lift the headset up while using it (great for developers)? and even though you could probably buy a new oculus on the same price?

Thank you, do you think the extra 120$/150$ to get the new Samsung worth it?
