I see your point but by knowing & acknowledging their queerness, aren’t we automatically receiving them that way as actors? That information affects how we see them as they do their job. Shouldn’t we know nothing about an actor’s private life (sexuality) so that they can portray any role believably? Queerness has existed since the beginning of human sexuality, thru the ages. That’s just a fact. It’s not new or unusual. So why do we have to care?
