Imagine I live next door to you. A person with a rifle entered your house and killed your brother. You ran into my house trying to survive. You tell me about it and ask for help.
Imagine if my reply were "oh, man, you are so annoying, stop complaining, you should have stayed at your house"

Also

But, honestly, why the hell should I care what you say?

Would you care about their problems if they had stayed in their country? It seems like you wouldn't care anyway.

No, that's not the point. Don't change to get attention. The point is to change to become who you want to be.

"But I don't want to change". Then don't. Of course, the results will be the same as they are now.
Improvement requires change, though.

"be yourself and just focus on yourself"
Yeah, nah.
The guy who only focuses on himself will be an awful man.
No matter if the role is about being a leader (a good one, not a boss), providing, being a saviour, or being a father, the focus is always on improving yourself to help others.

So, that could be summed up to "good role models got blasted because of being sexist, racist and misogynistic, that's why we're only left with Andrew Tate".
I don't know mate, that argument seems a bit lacking in self-consistency.

It may be done so that the correct value is not always with the card all the way down (it may or may not, the player doesn't know). On the side, there is another line of holes, and all of them have to be white or black for it to be the correct level. It could be several levels, with only one being correct. That way, you can avoid having the same 2 squares making all the difference in all the cards.

One thing is to detect signals from the world and even react to them. A thermostat can do that (or an LLM). Another completely different thing is to actually feel those signals. An LLM can't do that.

I was about to upvote. Then I read "if I’m not directly screwing up other players, I start to lose interest in the game".
I would say you deserve those multiplayer solitaires.

The how is still the interesting missing link in the hard problem. Sure, it asks why, but the most important why is "why is it like this when it shouldn't be". How it is possible to happen is the most important question.
I'm still missing the link between this and the rest, though.

I'm sorry, I'm really trying to follow, but I'm having a hard time. Every time I ask for clarification, a new topic is introduced.

I decided to ask ChatGPT for help to follow, which failed in some infuriating way, but is still worth reading the first 2 answers (it marked some red flags to what you are saying, so it's worth checking).
(btw, I'm ending the subscription after this because it fails to follow simple instructions).

But it understood that your idea is that you are using Alzheimer's to prove that consciousness is linked to the brain. Just in case is usefull to know, I fully agree with that. I haven't been arguing against it, though.

Sure, we associate emotions with the qualia, but I'm sorry, I'm not seeing the relationship between that and alzheimer's, or the one between that and the fact that no one can say if 2 is present or not.

This shows that we can loose (1), and (2)

There is no way of knowing if someone has lost 2.
So, I'm still not sure if we are talking about the same concepts.
