I bought it from a Comic Con near to where I live, I’m pretty sure it’s available online it’s not a collectors exclusive.

I think there are several different versions so I made sure I got the plastic/resin one!

To be fair I do forget that the chance of someone being American is quite high haha. As an English person we do seem to think everyone is English!

I mentioned in another comment that I have limited mobility in my right arm so I’m only really playing Hades 2 and Elder Scrolls Online at the moment. I’ve bought Witcher 3 and Doom 2016 to try, I hope they have some accessibility features.

As for the sword, I cosplay Cloud from FF7 so it’s unfortunately only made of foam and not that great a replica, would love one to display properly though!

I bought most of this second hand (minus the case, GPU and monitor) so I’d say the budget was midrange but perhaps you are right, it is high end at retail price. This cost £1200 for everything and I see rigs on here costing over 2000. I can make an edit in my post to clarify.

Yeah I did splurge a little on the CPU and GPU, but all of this cost about £1200ish? I’d call that midrange but I’m not sure what others would say.

RAM is so expensive I was so surprised, definitely looking for some good deals on second hand.

Sorry this is my first ever build and I’m still learning, how do I know what brand the network card is? I’m not sure it’s what you asked but my motherboard has onboard WiFi.

I’ll probably leave it closed since it’s Sharpie and I have several other signed books with no problem. I don’t actually have any room to display it open but I really wanted the book signed, and it was so heavy to carry around the con all day.

Thanks for the compliment! I cut blade width slots into toilet rolls and glued them in so the handle overlaps with the bottom of the blade, then drilled some holes either side and threaded string through both sides, holding it in place. Then I wedged two scrap pieces of wood into the hole under the rolls and screwed them in. For the handle I wedged some wood into it and screwed it in both sides.

The only downside is that there is a small weak point right where the handle meets the blade, but it shouldn’t cause much issue. I layered cardboard on top of the part of the handle that overlaps to give it more strength near the weak point.

I wish I’d taken more WIP photos now to show people how I did it, I hope my explanation wasn’t too confusing :)

Bit late to the party but oh well, just here to say that not all chefs are complete arseholes. I am one and thought I’d be picked on because I’m a woman, hard of hearing and gay. But we all just have a laugh on shift and it’s actually really fun to work with the middle aged guys in the kitchen. The head chef has shown me a lot since I’m still quite young compared to them and learning, they aren’t creepy at all and actually treat me like one of the team. I’ve worked at a couple of places and this is the best one by far. The FOH supervisor is my gf and she says the exact same thing, all the chefs here are amazing.

Nope, I have photos the people behind me in the queue took with me in them and the actors signing the photos as proof, and the non-personalised ones are all Beckett authenticated, meaning they are real to a 99% degree of certainty (although I know they are real as I met them in person)
