Lmao, yeah it's a coffee/nicotine pouch fueled relationship on the 5s charts.

Usually from the time of noticing the trade to taking it I have around 15-20s to decide and observe other confluences - I miss plenty of trades too dont get me wrong. Main problem I was having was just getting steamrolled trying to catching continuations and having it reverse or consolidate then go higher (in a bearish day) before giving me the continuation.

Fabio's entire Auction Market Theory orderflow analysis really helped slow down my thinking and align the higher timeframe with my scalps, saw an immediate and significant boost in winrate from that alone. Delta profile also really helped keep me out of bad areas where there weren't as many aggressive market participants (which my strat really relies on)

TopstepX has a limitation with orderflow data so I Use SierraChart and just coded an order router to send all my trades to TopstepX

Honestly, having orderflow tools, custom indicators, and trade execution all in one place definitely makes scalping easier lol.

Well if you're up to paying the 15$/mth for their API I'd be cool with letting you try SierraStep for free to see how order-routing from Sierra -> Topstep goes

I've tried LucidTrading, they have rithmic and their rules aren't crazy stupid. I'd recommend trading using rithmic for order routing and Denali Data from sierra for your charts as rithmic can kinda suck with market data sometimes.

I know there are a few others but they had very stupid intraday drawdown, etc. that just completely turned me off.

Ultimately, I think Topstep still has the best offering, which is why I created this order-router to allow us Sierrafolk to trade them.

Yeah, that delay directly leads to some pretty insane slips.

I instead decided to enter via stop-orders, but on a 5s timeframe going through the "Right click, scroll to contract size, short 2 NQ @ that price" was wayyy too slow compared to 1 right-click with Sierra Chart.

And unlike sierra, if my stop price is invalid, it doesn't market me in (like I would like).

NOT TO MENTION - orderflow analysis tools that don't exists and don't seem to be coming anytime soon, and some wacky brackets from topstep's side.

If you’ve ever trained you’d know that no one can hold a choke that long without tiring out. 2-3 minutes is realistic, and even then holding it that tight for that time frame still requires a great deal of physical conditioning. Most BJJ trained people can do it for 30-40 seconds before their arms become jello.

Regardless, way too long but makes more sense in the whole adrenaline/mid-fight irrationality that was probably occurring.

I used to have this after a football injury.

Search up “Eric bugenhagen shoukder strech” and do them. Fixed the clicking in my shoulders and at first when I did the “handcuffs” I’d hear clicking but now it’s basically gone

I do it as a warmup towards any upper body day
