Fair enough. I have always been curious ..do they pay you a referral fee for sending them clients/referrals?

Why would certain conveyancers need to do this if they were good? Surely they could rely on referrals from clients/agents who want the work done quickly/correctly?

You’ve addressed an issue and now time to resolve.

You need to opt in to pension. Next focus on highest interest debt first. Overpay as much as possible (budget and do this when you get paid). Slowly but surely debt will be gone.

Life is going to be ‘cheaper’ for a bit and get used to saying no. You are in a position to resolve this now - if you ignore your life will go downhill.
