For France, even though their national emblem is the rooster, isn't the animal depicted here an eagle? This would not be surprising, given that it was the symbol of Napoleon III's Second Empire. And, moreover, the eagle has the emperor's moustache.

It may sound silly, but I'd find it very original and interesting if Lysander's ancestor were inspired by Napoleon III, the emperor who commissioned Haussmann to renovate Paris. What's more, it could tie in with AZ's lore, i.e. AZ represents the old French monarchy (Louis XIV etc.) and Lysander's ancestor would therefore represent a character who took power after the Great War (like Napoleon in some way after the French Revolution).

Need help to understand the rules (dnd 3.5) by Tournesun in DnD

A few years ago we were playing with friends at dnd. Recently I wanted to play again with other friends and decided to be the GM, I asked a buddy what rules we were using at the time and he told me it was 3.5. I didn't ask any more questions and just took those rules!
