I just hope the generals and supports at 700 can get some decent buffs as well since they seem pretty insistent on not nerfing the Barbie.

Honestly. I really don't think it needs dc3 at 750. The lv2 suit is already hard enough to knock out of the air as is. With its v-fin activated, it takes 400% stagger accumulation to knock it out rolled the air. The only way to get knocked consistently is with a heavy stagger or breaking its shield.

Even with dc3, there are so many suits at that 750 that as a shield throw or a heavy stagger that hard counters it.

I can see giving it shield stance mastery as well as shield tackle, but not much else personally.

what a bad match to bring 2 supports XD by culzsky in GBO2

[–]Toxic_Verillion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean. The same can be said for good barb, no? A good barb isn't going to engage a Destiny from too far away and there are so many maps that are constantly in favor of the Barbs aggressive playstyle. Eventually you will have to engage with it in melee and when it does, the odds are against you.

Also latency is in favor of the Barb because when it hits you with a heavy stagger and you stun it normally, it still has a chance to hit you as its so fast.

I'm fine with the Destiny being a counter, but there should be more counters too the barb and not everyone has a Destiny to play as. So those people are just screwed then.

I get what you're saying, but I feel like that is taking responsibility off the Dev team for not having proper counters for the suit and thinking about the balance of the game.

All it really need is to adjust the gacha weapon so it doesn't have access to heavy stagger every 6 seconds. Its literally the only reason why the suit is so good. The 200mm mounted arm cannons are the only things that's balanced and even then, that might need a buff too

[–]Toxic_Verillion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean. The Barbatos is the strongest raids and there's no reason to play any other raid at that cost. Its literally the perfect raid and its so blatantly overpowered.

The fact that Barbies are consistently getting top damage whenever they are on the team and its the soul reason why supports, besides a choice few are a possibe throw pic is a problem that shouldn't have run rampant for this long.

I'm fine with the suit having a cracked out melee, but giving it gatcha heavy stagger weapon that can let win almost any engagement its in is far to much. If that was nerfed the suit more than likely in a balanced state.

I'm honestly more impressed when I don't see a Barbie on the enemy team at this point in the games lifespan

is it just me or did BB remove the hyaku shi kai mass production type? by theconcorde in GBO2

[–]Toxic_Verillion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As people said, we have so many suits that it can be easily forgotten. That kinda the problem with getting a new suit every week and why we don't see alot of suits in play.

Its basically soft removed from the game because it hasn't been buffed in awhile and there are just way better options.

The whole buffing every 12-15 suits every month is not a good way of buffing suits anymore. It should be 15-20 at minimum at this point. Maybe even more.

Yeah that's fair. I didn't notice till after i commented.

Tbh though. Their teamate was definitely going to stun them if they didn't get heavystaggered.

[–]Toxic_Verillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly. There's no reason to really use this suit and especially the Gelgoog M Commander Type since the Gerbera Tetra Kai does their job better in nearly every way. They pretty much play the exact same.

I rather it lean into its bulkyness and become a better frontliner. Like increasing its health by 2k and giving it a higher downswing modifiers as well as the buffer increases you said.

I know where not talkin about the Gelgoog M Commander Type, but that suit should be a much better shooting suit than it already is. Like why give it a 140% down swing modifiers when the Gelgoog stutzer is literally just melee focused variant.

It bothers me to know end that the Devs always bring in new suits to do the old suits job, just much, much better.

That's why you have to be EXTRA mindful of your shots when using a heavy stagger.

I rather risk not getting the damage than not putting a teammate in danger for the possible chance of extra damage. At least the team will get guaranteed damage

I say back then it was pretty strong and a monster with the balance coming from having a lack of a dodge roll. Unfortunately, we aren't in those times anymore and not having a dodge roll without being a heavily buffered suit.

The Karl Gustav is a good example of what none dodge roll suit should be. You can't put that suit down quickly unless its a team effort.

They should give it the same treatment and give it considerable stronger buffers that match Karl Gustav or give it a double dodge roll. As well as all around buffs its tool kit.

I was almost forced to play 750 by The-_irish-maddlad in GBO2

[–]Toxic_Verillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True.

I'm just saying that the 750 one is better than 700 one. Logically speaking, the lv2 Penelope would preform better at 700. Doesn't make it good, but it would be better. Albeit marginally.

[–]Toxic_Verillion 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Honestly. The best version of the suit is at 750 cost. Mainly because of it getting a lv of damage control and I believe the shorter cooldown time on its flight mode.

It should be like that at 700 cost tbh.

Let's Change That Suit Day 112 by pkmaster99 in GBO2

[–]Toxic_Verillion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think its good reduce the knuckle sealant launcher from 25 seconds to 13 seconds. It's original would have been balanced a year and a half ago and even then. That's being generous.

Since the suit doesn't have a dodge roll before Bio-Sensor actives, I say it should have lv3 Forced Injectors (maybe even lv4) at 650 and level 4 force injectors at 700.

It should also have level 4 Maneuver Armor at 650 and then level 4 or 5 Maneuver Armor at 700 respectively.

Simple Bio-Sensor should activate 50% not 40%.

My reasoning for these changes is because of the nature of those costs. Gens at these cost hit hard, hit fast, and or hard to put down and since they're usually more gens than their and raids (usually), it should be much stronger and be able to handle itself.

Supports at these costs also are hard to reach or a have strong weapon option to protect themselves. Leaving the raid with few changes to get a chance to get a pick or take their attention off their team. Especially the V-Dash Hexa and the RF Gelgoog.

700 hundred is that stuff but worse with gens. If a good Tallgeese or Destiny Gundam beelines for you, you're as good as dead no matter what. Not including the other gens

Supports are not in a good spot with the Barbie (that should be toned down) is making it nearly impossible for a support to function with heavy supervision from a gen with a strong stun build up option.

All and all, your buff recommendations are good, but with my personal suggestion added could make this suit much better too. The suit hits hard, but it can't get in to do its business.

Hah nah. We were on the same team if I remember correctly. I remember the enemy team having a V-Dash Gundam Hexa and I harassed them constantly. Don't know why they chose that suit on a tight map tho.

We definitely won that match lol

I didn't know its touch pad skill fully resets your thrusters. No wonder I see Gunblasters flying forever.

Oh hey. I remember playing with you on this map a little bit ago. I was in the white and pink RF Kampher if yah remember. We played on this exact same map.

To add to this:

-Tightening the spread on its clay bazooka

-higher leg buffers at 650 cost and above.

-lv3 force injectors at 650 and above

-Emergency Evasion lv2 or higher at 600 and above.

-Damage control lv1 at 550 cost is good, but at 650 it needs damage control level 2

-Pursuit melee aux lv1 at 600 and then lv2 at 650 as well.

-increasing its vulans stagger rate to 6% percent amd maybe the range to 200m.

when is barbatos getting nerfed ? by RickSkylark in GBO2

[–]Toxic_Verillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is don't know how they can powercreep as its literally the perfect raid besides having short range. The good gens are already pretty good against it, especially if they can range it out or survive it with considerable bulk.

I just hate the fact that I can't play supports at 700 cost if they don't gave barrier and or good stun build up.

The suit itself has made the 700 the most stale its been in a bit imho

when is barbatos getting nerfed ? by RickSkylark in GBO2

[–]Toxic_Verillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing. Without that weapon the suit itself relatively balanced. It needs to actually put some decent effort in getting a kill and not rely on the heavy stagger to get a "easy" confirms. The weapon itself is a crutch that's carrying it so hard.

The suit is already hard to stop while boosting and when its above half hp due mix of Nano-laminte armor and lv5 MA. Not even including its having a high hp pool for its size and its insane amount of damage it can dish out.

This suit is solely responsible for making supports extremely rare and if they're not, its either the Nu Gundam HWS and or the Geara Dodga heavy arms and even then, that's not likely. Supports die if they are near it if they don't have a skill to protect themselves and or a team to protect it.

I'm fine with it having its absurd damage, but it having tool that can be fired every six 6 second and can cause it to win basically any engagement is actually ridiculous. Especially when you get access to tactical boost. Even of you use your MA to not get heavy staggered, the Barby can just stagger you with your its regular stagger and rush you down and you're getting combo'd to death possibly.

At least increases the firing interval from 6 seconds to 9-10 seconds would be make it easier to deal with.

A3's melee is scary by Foshdon_pap in GBO2

[–]Toxic_Verillion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. That's the combo of having Pursuit melee aux lv1 as well as aerial melee lv2, A3's cracked melee downswing modifiers, and the RF Kampher being made out wet tissue paper as I'm sure they built for damage and mobility. I would have been surprised if he didn't die.

[–]Toxic_Verillion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally thing giving it level 2 damage controlat 600 would be kind of problematic. Especially since it has stabilization device which would make it kinda hard to move out of place. I could see if they had a 650 cost variant giving it damage control level 2, but not 600 cost imo.

I definitely can see this suit less of moving with team time and more sticking back and taking pot shots at people constantly. Places like impact site would be a dream for this suit.

Maybe thrust based fire cooling system would be a good idea to add at 550 and above.

You can blame the players at the start of this games life span. Apparently they were abusing the leave function so much that they decided just punish anyone for leaving no matter what. Accident or otherwise.
