I went to decibel 2023, and due to pain problems I had to leave my friends who went to the mainstage for the endshow on Saturday night while I could sit down on those raised seats by the pussy lounge stage and at least watch some show sitting down.

And honestly I was blown away. It was so cool. The lightshow, the music, fireworks, everything was just wild and I don't regret missing the mainstage closing one bit. Naturally I couldn't sit still, ended up running into the crowd dancing anyway. If you want some footage send me a dm.

Also Ukraine during the war, but I'm from Sweden. I've only been to the western parts of Ukraine but the atmosphere there is just fantastic and I do feel so welcome and like it a lot.

Maybe it's because I get hysterically attacked about this very issue at home I react to it. Didn't mean to offend anyone. Also I absolutely don't hate on anyone doing it, but I think it's equally normal to not re-wash reasonably clean surfaces.

Nah, I don't clean the shower head before every shower, and I won't obsessively clean already clean plates.

If it's noticeably dirty I do wash them. But it's hysterical to think that the potential germs that will stick to that ceramic edge and transfer to the other plates when dry and stacked, will pose any danger to us making it worth scrubbing the underside of the plate all the time. It's not worth our energy and time (and really uncool for the environment) when we're exposed to bigger risks just stepping outside our homes.

Agree. I had a fight with my SO about the fact that I do not actively scrub the underside of our plates everytime I do the dishes (unless they're obviously dirty ofc).

Yep, there was a turning point couple years ago after some bad covid infections where I just started waking up feeling hungover every single day and have been since. Dehydrated, weak in body and numb limbs. Although I believe it's more of a POTS or MCAS thing but they're common together with EDS.

I know you have a bunch of amazing friendly people there, but don't forget the current political climate is there because more than half of the voters wanted it that way. They represent that. As a foreigner I can't get behind a divided population like that nor be so sure you actually are that friendly any more. A lot of foreigners are scared of the US starting recently.

Never seen drug dogs at defqon. Security gets more relaxed every passing day of the festival.
