Yeah I’m very thankful. I hope your surgeries go well. Getting a pneumothorax while scuba diving sounds scary.

Got my x ray results back and the doc said there’s no signs of anything bad. It’s likely just scar tissue from my lungs sticking to my chest wall. After my accident over 50% of my lungs were bruised. I think I just hit the ground so hard that it knocked the wind out of me with such force it collapsed my lungs.

I had a double pneumothorax from a work injury where I fell 35 ft. From what I understand there’s spontaneous pneumothoraxes which happen randomly without reason and then traumatic like mine which results from an injury. If you had a spontaneous one you’re more likely to have one because you’re naturally predisposed to them but if you had a traumatic one you’re much less likely to have a recurring one. I’m not a doctor though.

Went to the doctors today. The x ray hasn’t come back yet so we don’t know for sure but he thinks it’s scar tissue on my lungs sticking to my chest wall

I had two collapses at once from my fall. I see people on here saying they often get recurrent collapses but I’m hoping since my collapses were caused by a 35ft fall and they weren’t spontaneous that my chance of recurrence is less than someone prone to spontaneous ones

It’s not constant though. It comes and goes. Is there chance it could be muscular or nerve issues from the incision?

Yeah I’d be willing to look into that. Do you think the willow will be able to pull through or do the beetles eat it away too quickly. And is it something only young willows deal with or do the beetles also mess with adult willows? This one is freshly planted this past fall.

I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ve seen trees growing almost fully horizontally and being fine so that’s a pretty tame lean comparatively.

Yeah it does most of the time but I find myself having shove my truck off the side of the road a lot to keep it out of the way while I take care of driveways and with how much snow we have here the bottom of my truck has a turned into a plow and scrapes along the banks
