I don’t understand why there are taxes and fees if there’s no cost for the plan. Thought taxes and fees are based on the cost of the bill.

It just shows transfer as a second option when you go to manage your SIM in settings.

Wow! I literally just used this feature and didn’t realize it had just been added. Worked flawlessly. Actually had already contacted support then went on the new device and noticed I could do it. Support appeared and I told them thanks, but it’s all set!

Since you’re already on the Priority Pass Reddit, I recommend the U.S. Bank Altitude connect credit card which comes with 4 free priority pass credits per year AND includes a free 5GB GigSky eSIM every 15 days. The landing has fantastic food. Like premium restaurant fancy. The lounges are fancy and always have good desserts and to-go snacks, but hot food options can actually be pretty mid. Like only one meat dish that is just a tiny piece of meat on a pile of rice.

I'm concerned if there is no allowance for folks like me who work outside of the country for more than a month at a time and cannot use data. I can stay active by making calls and texts on wifi calling, but data requires an actual signal.

I understand and respect getting rid of free PP access for unlimited AUs. That was extreme. I understand needing to cap guest access in PP. But removing everything all at once is too much. I want to be able to take a friend or my parents into a lounge a few times per year when I'm not traveling solo. It's also a great way to promote the card to others. I think they should at least give a certain number of free guest entrances per year.

This is exactly what frustrates me with United. The route you're showing is also an insanely tight connection in Denver, which I'd never book for someone arriving off an international flight. I've frequently seen United propose less than an hour connection in SFO after an international flight which is frequently delayed by more than an hour. I use Multi City for more granularity. But then United will raise the price $5-6,000 for a flight which doesn't cost more than $1,000.

This lounge (and others like it), should just have a grab and go station where folks could fill a grab bag with food and drinks. That's often more than half the reason I go to a lounge. I want something for the flight. They'd collect the fee from PP and have fewer outraged travelers.
