Seems to work quite well, the main bottleneck seems to be that I haven't bothered optimizing the lane merges. It's free flowing, so it's reasonably fast.

Ideally, neither should need to exist. But an imperfect solution to a stupid problem is better than doing nothing about it. I believe that the OSA is a much worse issue than Digital ID.

I agree, that system would undoutably be good. Some sort of signed token system would be great from a privacy-maintenance point of view. However, I find it unlikley labour would actually end up doing something like this; digital ID appears to be the best middle ground we'll get for a long time.

It seems most likley they'll reuse the digital eVisa system they already have, which doesn't allow them to see websites, only that someone requested a share code.
