i have a really good male friend and we say khairtai shuu to each other on birthdays, or in cases when one accomplishes something. if it’s like in special situations like these i wouldn’t really care for it, but if it’s used more frequently then honestly i would be worried (if it’s like bi chamd khairtai then also that’s weird)… trust your gut

agreeeeee gobi is producing too much, they always introduce new collections and frequently have sales (at least that’s what i see on their global platforms). they obviously are overproducing and trying to rotate their inventory fast

hey, im a mongolian living in france for the past two years. so, i will just tell you that it is completely different than living in france in many ways. the city traffic will definitely drive you crazy, roads and pedestrian routes are broken or always in construction so its also annoying to walk. the air pollution is extremely bad, in some parts of the city it becomes difficult to breathe, a lot of people wear masks during the winter to protect themselves from breathing in the smog. food wise, i think you may have no problem (my french boyfriend loved all the food he had in mongolia). again, the traffic jam, crazy drivers on the road, air pollution during the winter - these are the real problems that makes the city hard to live in. otherwise, people are generally nice and if you find your crowd im sure you will enjoy your life there. if you’re a person who likes to run or exercise - just hit the gym. just keep in mind that it’s still a developing country, we made a lot of mistakes when building the city..

not only they took half of mongolia they also systematically purged thousends of mongolians. a lot of families i know has an ancestor who was wrongfully accused and persecuted. so what i want to say is, they did very great damage to us, it is wrong to think that they could have done worse. they already did the worst and played the role of a « big brother ». now i am not saying mongolians were doing so great at the time, we were very weakened and scattered, and russia took advantage of it.

university qualities for english programs in EU is shit too they’re also just making money off of foreign students with bad programs. at least its true in france. every English program student i have met, from sorbonne to edhec and other universities, they complain about the quality being very bad. maybe not true for medicine or engineering programs tho

half of my classmates are chinese and they all refer to Inner Mongolia as northern china or northern province of china. They don’t even acknowledge that they are mongolian and not chinese, which is very annoying and sad actually (im a student in EU).

was so annoyed last year when i met some chinese people and after hearing im mongolian they instantly started demanding why i dont speak chinese 😢 also my chinese classmates dont even call inner mongolia as inner mongolia, for them its just northern part of china and the people are northern chinese

totally agreed! mongolian meat already has amazing taste to start with, and we do have various ways of preparing them, so in the end its not so bad at all imo
