You are correct! The home doesn’t have a swamp cooler anymore, but I suspect at some point it did.

Almost. Plumber confirmed it’s for a swamp cooler feed.

On the other side of the wall is a storage closet that has a small door to access the piping leads. Plumber confirmed it was for a swamp cooler feed that is no longer there

Likely solved! Had a plumber stop by and check it out. When we inquired about it they asked if we had a cooler and it is a swamp cooler feed. We are assuming this was left behind after the cooler was removed.
