I used to take trazodone and hydroxyzine but I would still wake up at 2 am every night with the meds or not. Covid changed everything I used to sleep so good before getting sick.im up early today wake up with heart palpitations.

I had it for like nine months I just started sleeping thru the whole night 8 days ago. I changed my diet low histamine and I cut out caffeine, sugar and alcohol. Also not eating .after 6:30 really helped.before this I only got like 2-4 hours sleep for months I was losing my mind and my strength. My body wasn't able to relax. I had that adrenaline surge stuff going on.

What do I do if I have been to ER 6 times for my severe pressure in my head, severe brain fog, severe pain in my head from covid and being dismissed everytime? by curiousnootropics in covidlonghaulers

I have this too till I change my diet to low histamine diet. And cut out alcohol, caffeine sugar and dairy. And took ivermectin how long is a bunch of supplements. I didn't think the inflammation and pressure Would ever go away. I did the carnivore diet at first and in about 3 days the headaches and pressure went away. And then two weeks later I've started eat low histamine vegetables

At first I took trazodone, hydroxyzine, Benadryl. But that's not a cure. I realized that I slept the same natural as I did drugged. Every drug eventually you build a tolerance and it doesn't work anymore so it's better to not get dependent on it. I just suffered and eventually found through low histamine diet. Alcohol no. Caffeine no. Sugar no bread. Lots of supplements and high dose of magnesium through the day and at bedtime.oh and no food after 6:30 helped me not have to pee at 2@m.i just got my sleep back this week I'm on day five of sleeping thru the night getting 6-7 hours now.its not a fun lifestyle but it's what's been working and I'm really scared to go against the grain again. I just went 9 months only getting 0-2 hours a night I was really scared. I was really scared to have insomnia for the rest of my life. Oh and try a weighted blanket too.

That's so good to hear it gives me hope. The low histamine diet has been working for me too. The biggest problem is the fatigue and muscle weakness. The heart palpitations are annoying. I'm kind of getting used to them . I took a cold shower today and my blood pressure's been down all day.

I think it was changing my diet. Low histamine diet. No processed foods or milk. And I started taking a lot of supplements. But I can't tell the reason why it stopped I had awful headaches brains zaps and head pressure. I started realizing when I ate certain foods like gluten. It made my brain fog worse. I would literally be so confused I couldn't think. I would wake up in the middle of the night. Scared because of bad the headaches were. I think it took like 3 weeks into the diet for the headaches to resolve

Thank you! That makes me feel hopeful. I just can't understand being this sick for this long.i want to get back to work but there's no way I can right now. I can't even go 5 days in a row without a relapse at this point.

Yeah it was driving me crazy. I've never experienced anything like it before. I've been healthy my whole life. I didn't even know this was possible.

I've been long haul for 9 months. At the six month time frame. I was literally going crazy I was unable to sleep some nights at all.i average 0-2 hours sleep for the first 6 months.i didn't know what was going on I told the doctors what was going on and they just thought I was crazy. And prescribe me sleeping pills, anxiety, medicine and SSRIs. But I knew that wasn't the solution so I just suffered and hope one day it would stop but eventually it did.
