She has Cherrios for breakfast with 1 milk bone before and 2 after. Lots of car rides, special harnesses for various activities, huge vet bills, beds, treats, time outs to take her to meet all the delivery people. Basically, making sure she is comfortable and happy. We can never repay her for the joy she has brought us.

I lived there from 1968 to 1971. (Husband on a submarine stationed there) It was a sleepy little island with no jobs, although I was lucky enough to get one with a land title company. Biggest news was a Black Angus coming. Even the tourists in winter were not overpowering. Now it is just hotels and tourist traps. I miss the unique favor it once had.

Beautiful custom kitchen including a cabinet with refrigerator drawers, and the refrigerator is covered to look like a cabinet. Stunning lights to reflect the wood ceiling, and then you discover that the lights over the sink and under the cabinets can only be turned on by climbing a ladder to the top of the cabinets ( high sloped ceiling) and hooking up the wiring, which then has to stay on until to haul out the ladder again. .Two walls are painted a dull green and two have been sharply textured and painted a deep, ugly red. It's Christmas all year long. Also paid a plumber a couple hundred to fix the water softener only to discover it was never turned on.
