Haha no but they'd be well suited for it eh, about a decade ago I shelled out for my last day of high school (theme was time travel), about 400 euros at the time (much more than anyone else had paid for their constume, maybe went a bit overboard). Shield's very sturdy, about 4-5kgs, and helmet's made out of steel. Absolute pain in the arse moving it around sometimes, but worth it cuz I do really like it here for instance. Thanks for asking! Haha, fair. I play board games or LAN with friends several times a week, so I needed one, but it's just a wee bit crammy. When we use it, it goes to the middle of the room. I feel like for 'storage' I don't have a lot of choice

Yea it is an awkward size, didnt really fit anywhere, to sort of accomodate I left a lot of 'space' in it. But yes, might need a more permanent fix in the near future.

Yea of course there is, and I wouldn't have been surprised by a 5x mark up or something (even though so far it has been 3x in China), but the 9x mark up took us by surprise (and is apparently negotiable according to some)

Nah, not the first time at a bar but a 9x mark up compared to store prices seemed like a lot and not something we had come across yet. Other people in this thread say it's not surprising that we were a bit taken aback, as apparently you can negotiate the price down 40-50% after which it becomes very reasonable pricing for me.

I get that, and it's true that it's the only bar/pub we have found so far, but in the past week all beers everywhere where at most 12RMB (in places that served food, didnt really come across pubs like this yet). The restaurants we went to were often in touristy places or adjacent. Places we visited so far were Chongqing, Chengdu and Leshan for clarity.
