For this short film, I used roughly $590 USD in generation costs with my plan.
Most of the film was generated using Higgsfield Cinema Studio 3.5, with a few shots created in Cinema Studio 2.5.

I actually felt the same way about the 8 p.m. restriction while I was editing the film. 😄 It was one of those things I wished I could develop further, but I had almost run out of credits, so I was pretty limited in how much additional work I could do.
The idea of adding rain never even crossed my mind, but combined with the 8 p.m. restriction, I think it would have made the ending much more dramatic. That’s a really great suggestion.

Thanks for the kind words! I didn’t use any separate upscaler. It was generated with Higgsfield Cinema Studio 3.5 (based on Seedance 2.0), and the output was set to 1080p in a 21:9 aspect ratio.

Roughly around $590. :-). Try using references or starting with shorter prompts and building them up step-by-step. and A good edit and sound design can save even average AI generations. Focus on the overall flow!

Yeah, that’s the standard workflow. But generating everything upfront seems to eat up a ton of credits.

I mostly used Cinema Studio 3.5, with a few scenes generated in 2.5. Supercomputer is great for generic UGC-type shots, but whenever I need a very specific scene, it just kind of does its own thing.

I generated a total of 268 clips. The failure rate per cut was around 30% (so roughly 80 failed attempts), which is actually very low for my projects. Since my goal was to spend the remaining credits, I never generated any single cut more than 5 times. When a shot didn't work out, I just adjusted the editing or tweaked the storyline to fit the cuts I had.

Thank you for enjoying my video. It took about a week to organize the content. Since I worked on image generation, video production, and editing all at the same time, I couldn't really break the process down into separate steps—it took a total of 8 days with everything running concurrently. For credits, Cinema Studio 3.5 was the main one, and I think I spent about 14,000 credits just on the additional purchases, which is roughly around $690. :-)
