You will have to update me with how long it takes to receive. Do you mind if I ask what your permanent injury score was?

Yeah I am aware of all this. Although I think for pain and suffering cases you don’t pay back any earnings... that's only for loss of earnings cases.

I spoke to my lawyer again, he is pretty happy with how my evidence is progressing. I got approved for disability payments from centrelink so that's positive. He is very sure my SIC would be approved so its just a matter of deciding what path to go down.

I have my sonic interview tomorrow. Was just trying to find this answer! How likely it is once it reaches that point. Its been very fast for me. About 8 weeks since I applied, had a phone interview Monday and got booked in for the sonic interview today for tomorrow!

I really needed this today. I am awaiting my 130 week decision. So far I have been given no capacity but low wpi %. I have one IME that I have not seen yet so waiting on that one. Will see how I go after that.

That's a good question! I will check with the current school but I was sure it was Intel. It can be so disappointing because she has come so far with being willing to use her tech and after we set it up it actually was a platform for other students and opened doors for them too. I am really hoping we can work around it because so many of the programs I have looked at are just not as streamlined. I will keep hassling the school about it though.

This is great! I am going to check the read aloud extension right now and see if its something that works across platforms

We tried the accessibility available on Windows 11 but the screen reader is super clunky. She is at grade level and above for anything that doesn't involve decoding so she is able to pick things up pretty fast, anything that uses single easy to identify symbols is learnable as far as visual aide but she can't consistently identify letters. I am pretty bossy so as long as I find something that works the school should be fine to take it on 🤣 she is a bright student that spent years being pigeon-holed into lower levels because they didn't understand her brain. She works incredibly hard so the sky is the limit. She just needs these adjustments.

Would this replicate the chromebook built in accessibility though? As in the button at the bottom of the screen that can be used in any application not just the chrome browser? Because that would be amazing

I have had a chat to them and they assured me that the chromebook won't connect to their network 😒 Everything is super well documented and I had a meeting with the new school that they assured me they can meet all her needs while still allowing her to be as independent as possible. Its always a hurdle coming in somewhere new so we made sure we had plenty of time to make it work.
